I have a 90-0100 that I cannot get to run. I have installed fresh batteries all around, the Transmitter LED shows a red light, but to no effect on the engine. There is no response when moving the forward backward switch and there is no sound from the tender. Am I missing a switch because I have tried the 2 at the back of the engine several times.  I would appreciate any help or hints. Thanks, pk

I no longer have a set of the instructions for it, but i do remember that it makes a difference  as to what you turn on first.  I think the loco then the transmitter.  As old as those are, you may have a corrosion  problem with the wire connections  or at the contact points of the batteries.  If it ever had the batteries left in it for a long period of time where the green stuff got all over the ends then it almost certain that is the problem.

Gook luck with you loco!!
