I no longer have one but I think it is behind the smokebox door at the front of the boiler. check there.  Maybe someone else knows for sure.

I was looking at some pictures of the WPY 2-4-2 and it has a smoke box door.  What is behind it, just a polarity switch??    Wade, can you help with this?   Did some 2-4-2's not have smoke at all??

Hi Bill:

I just checked the WP&Y 2-4-2 that was handy. Nothing behind the smokebox door. The only switch is in the cab next to the tender sound cable connection. I pulled the stack and there is a smoke unit in it. I never use smoke and didn't know the 2-4-2's had it. I checked a couple of early Porters and they don't have smoke.

I got the new 93106 &93130 Bobbers the other day. Very nice paint.
