csx locomotive-horn

Hello!  I am wondering if anyone could help me. This is my 2nd csx replacement and I am having problems with the horn not working.  The bell works but the horn does not.  I will depress the button and nothing happens sometimes the locomotive will just stop.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you.

does the transformer make the horn on now B locos work?

What transformer are you using?
Hopefully not the CW-80, a.k.a. can't work.
Most transformers made by either Atlas or MTH will work with Williams horn units. If it don't do both then reverse the track wires at the connectors.
