Retrofitting 4-4-0 DCC on board to sound

Anyone try retrofitting the 4-4-0 DCC on board to sound
Doesn't seem like there would be enough room in the tender
for the Tsunami decoders I have seen

I and others have doe this with a SoundTraxx Micro Tsunami and 28mm speaker. $112 for decoder and about $9.00 for speaker.
