I'm planning an interesting kitbash project for a 4-6-0 and I'm considering using the Bachmann 4-6-0 as the chassis. However the engine I'm trying to depict/portray has 44" diaeter drivers and the lead wheel diameters are 24".

Can anyone tell me what the scale drive wheel and lead wheel diameters for the B-mann 4-6-0 are?
Much Obliged in advance.  :)

The prototype had 45" drivers and 24" pilot wheels. Not owning the O-scale version, I can't say they got it exact but I know Lee Riley's a HUGE ET&WNC fan, so I can only imagine they did. They got it right on the 1:22.5 version. It's a very safe bet the drivers on the model are not larger than the prototype, and a hair or two smaller works to your advantage.

You sir are a lucky man, for I am measuring my engine for Auran TRS2010 rebuild, and Kevin is right about the 45" drivers, the engines is to scale, other than the fact it's 30" gauge.
