Railfanning!!!!!!

Since we have monday off, my plans for the long weekend are to stay overnight in Columbus with my mom in a hotel and eat dinner with my brother around 11pm after he gets off work. Satuday morning my mom and I are going to go to Portsmouth for a day (the point of going down to portsmouth is not for railfanning but the NS Columbus District runs right along US-23. After Portsmouth we will head back North to Columbus where my mom wil drop me off at my brothers apartment. On Sunday I am going to hang out at my brother's place when he works from 12-7, I'm not sure of the rest of the plans for that day. On Monday we will be going railfanning in Marion which is about an hour north of Columbus. My grandpa is bringing my other brother back to Ohio State monday evening when he will take me home.

What is everybody else's plans for the long weekend?

not sure what i'll do yet. if sunday is nice i might take my son out to shoot trains with his new camera. otherwise we'll just watch them out the window. railfanning goes on 24-7 here.....

Not doing much, ran around getting supplies for projects around the house . Still got work to do on a cabinet I am making  to house DVD  cases. Currently assembling doors , need to disassemble rails and stiles to cut dado / slot  to let in a plexiglass panels .  Have installed piano hinges on cabinet ; still need to decide on pulls & type of closure system for doors. Then will have to diassemble cabinet , remove all the pencil marks , do some sanding and then glue everything together and apply trim , and then finish & varnish . This will take more than the weekend I trust . J2

I'm gonna "attempt" to make it back to triskett. It seems to be my territory now, Its been too long sense i last went. So I'll try to get their to go all day. Just move along the line on Monday... If im lucky, I'll try this Friday too. I don't know about you but i got next Friday off along with Monday. If i get lucky 1 of those days, A late Amtrak will pass by. Saturday and Sunday is Michigan monster trucks and my great grandma. So Monday and Friday are back ups. I wonder how many people are gonna remember when i went!(lol) Oh well, tons of fun.
