N & W water tender

Can the Bachmann N & W water tender be used with my DCC N & W J-class 4-8-4?

The water tender appears to have DC lights.  As far as I tell there is nothing else electrical in the tender.

looks like it to me. if you get one, scan the diagram and post it on the forum so others can see what it looks like.

I have two these that I run on DCC.  The only issue is that both lights stay on all the time while on a DCC powered track.  I simply removed the shells and disconnected the lights.  There is nothing else electrical inside the tenders.

What is involved in removing the shell?

I think I am going to get the one that I have had offered to me.

I don't remember off the top of my head but I think they just slip off.  I don't remember there being any screw to remove but either way, it is really easy to remove the shell.  Sometimes I will go back in and reconnect the lights just for the heck of it.
