...........................!!! Bloody...........!!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!? That was strange yet disturbing! I can't believe that happened. It's one of those things where you know it might happen but don't really think of it.

We have had a number of similar incidents here in South Africa with teenagers having been killed while doing what they call "Train Surfing" on the roof of a commuter train.
This is despite many warnings regarding the danger of electrocution.

railroading is not for the faint of heart. there are innumerable ways you can get killed out on the line. most people have no clue of the danger.

Riding the tops of train cars is very common in India.  Unfortunately the fellow who got electrocuted didn't have any idea of the danger of touching a catenary wire.

Did you notice the seeming lack of concern by the people on the platform?

That was nice , bleahhhhh . Reminded me of something I saw happen at a power plant .

precommissioning people over torqued a lug , on a 500 HP cutler-hammer starter . When they went to bump the motor to check for rotation , Jumped phase . Blew the can door off and also the techs arm off . I still have night mares .
