I have not seen an actual ON30 train. Are they O Scale running on HO track?

Dear Scot,
Yes, they are O Scale narrow gauge trains that run on HO track, which scales out at bout 30" in 1:48.
Since narrow gauge trains are typically much smaller than standard gauge trains, they look great.
Have fun!

Hi Scot, I don't know what part of the country you live in [or what country, for that matter], but there are several On30 meets in the US now.  There are also a growing number of On30 modular clubs.  Here is a listing of the ones we know about:

I've also seen photos of On30 exhibition layouts in the UK, and a few in Japan.

Hi Scot,
im only writing to say you are only the second "Scot with one T" I have ever come across in my entire life..(three total, counting myself)
how did you end up with only one?
my one T is because Scotland only has one T..
one is better..two is redundant! ;)

oh..and to stay on-topic, I have a list of manufacturers you might like to check out:

Shows a lot of what is available in On30..
Bachmann is the biggest player in On30,  they basically invented it..(well..maybe not technically..a bunch of creative modelers actually invented it ..but Bachmann made it commercially available.)
they offer the largest selection of locos and rolling stock..

its one of the most rapidly growing scales in the hobby..
