On30 locos

Just curious.
The DCC equipped locos 4-4-0, 2-4-4 Forney and the 2-8-0 have similar manufacture suggested retail prices. On eBay the 2-4-4 and more so the 4-4-0 demand higher prices and have more biding action than the 2-8-0 but the 2-8-0 looks more complicated and have more details than the other two. What's your take on this?

The 2-8-0 has been on the market longer, and thus the demand isn't as high.  Still a great model, though, probably the heaviest and best pulling of my On30 locos.

Sure-the 2-8-0 is a "older" model but hey: The best of all, if one asks me. Nice detailed, wonderful proportions, good runner, heavy puller...

She has been out on the market a bit longer than the others, but she´s worth every price, that´s for sure.
