Removing Locomotive Lettering

Is it possible to remove lettering from locomotives without hurting the paint . I am not comfortible fixing paint. Thanks, Ryan

Dear Ryan,
Try Scalecote Rinse-Away, or Chameleon paint remover. I've also had good results with "Oops!", available at your local paint store.
