J, have a bachman model locomotive CN 9162 and one of the gears is defective, or can I get new ones

Try giving Bachmann's service dept. a call. I'm sure they can help you with replacements or it may be under warranty. Let them know what scale and where and when it was purchased new. If used they can sell you the parts or repair it for you at a reasonable charge.
