Can anyone tell me where I can find the instruction & parts sheet that comes with Bachmann products?

I am trying to find the manual that comes with a Northern 4-8-4 & 52' Tender.  This loco has the old vertical motor in it. It would be the same for a 41-580-02-SANTA FE or the 41-580-16-BURLINGTON.

Thanks

Take a look at this link.

I do not ever recall a vertical motor in a Bachmann. I have a couple brass locos and a Rivarossi Casey Jones with vertical motors.

Mr Bachmann, Why don't you put the manuals, parts lists and information on your site?
Another site issue - where do you find Dynamis? Don't you think that it would be under products?

Bachmann has always been on the slow side for documentation. I believe the Bach-Man only answers questions and has no control over what Bachmann does or does not post online. Here is a link to a UK Dynamis site.

Link to Manual.

Try this site.  It may or may not have your particular loco but it's a great site to spend time on.  Let me know how you do.

This is a Bachmann site and I'm sure that they monitor it. The information from Bachmann is the worst of anybody that I have ever dealt with. For those who run RC cars take a look at Traxxas. The site has a forum, links, PDF's of every product, exploded views etc.
My whole railroad is Bachmann - Dynamis is not even listed as a product, my locos have DCC decoders but what are the preset values? What kind of decoder? My Tsunami has no info - where is the link?
I know that if I search I can find it but if Mr Bachmann is listening (or anybody else around the world that has clout for Bachmann) they should get someone to administer the site who actually has the fore-thought and capability of doing so. It would be to everybodies advantage.

Hello db22

From the Bachmann site. Go to Product Reference/DCC Sound/Sound Decoder CV Defaults (PDF).
Download the PDF.

From the SoundTraxx site.

http://www.soundtraxx.com/documents/manuals/Bachmann%20Quick%20Start%20Guide.pdf

Be advised, the Tsunami for the Bachmann locos do not have all the sound features of a Tsunami you install yourself. A few people have "assumed" the Bachmann Tsunamis where the same .

The non sound decoders are made by a different company. Right now I cannot remember which company. Others may comment.

I suspect, Bachmann Industries operates with as few people as necessary.

I have successfully programmed CV's with my Dynamis on my Bachmann Tsunami steam but I cannot change my Bachmann 2-6-0 DCC (no sound). CV 2, 3 and 4 from 1 to 255 have zero effect.
Any clue would be appreciated - thanks.

Thanks for the help and I tried those links but the info is more like a sales broshure. Soundtrax has some good info but I don't understand why it's so difficult to get specifications for Bachmann products.
Dynamis - How do you program turnouts to the turnout icon and not on loco #9?
My DCC steam obviously has a decoder so what are the values from the factory?
Buying parts is near impossible because the model number is not written on the product and there are few pdf's of components and, of course, Bachmann don't publish anything useful. If it wasn't for some people on this site, people would have given up on Bachmann a long time ago.
This site needs ALL info on its products. To put it in perspective, Bachmann charges you money for a sales brochure so that you can then buy their products. I can't think of another company with such audacity. >:(
