My son dropped our locomotive

I recently got the Freight Master set as a starter set and my 8 year old son accidentally dropped the locomotive. The body came off along with the trucks which I was able to put back together, but it doesn't run. It lights up but that's it. Any troubleshooting information would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are, the motor is fine.  Depending on from what height it was dropped, though, something may be bent or a gear came out of seat.
