Switches HO

I'm new to HO TRAINS AND THE FORUM, I have the Bachmann DCC transformer and recently purchased two switches, what do I do or need to make them operate, The local shop was of no help

If they are DCC turnouts you can program them to work with your DCC controller. If they came with a separate control box to operate them you will need a DC set power pack or wall-wart (phone charger, old kids toy charger,etc.)
