Replacement parts

I have two Department 56 Village train sets. #52710
I am looking to replace the small support struts that are underneath both sides of the passenger cars.
They are about 4 inches long, gold in color, and have a faux turnbuckle in the middle.

I could not find a listing on Bachman's web site for any replacement parts for the passenger cars.
Since these struts are quite fragile and easily broken, I would think there would be lots of requests for them.

I've replaced these with Grandt Line queen posts & turnbuckles and a piece of music wire.  By carefully bending the music wire, it will hold the correct shape and is much less vulnerable to breaking.

Use the .025 wire from Tichy Train http://www.tichytraingroup.com/index.php?page=view_category.php&category=Wire&offset=0
It bends easily and keeps it shape and won't break.
