New 3 Truck Shay with sound, need advice on dcc equipment to buy

I just purchased a 3 truck shay #82697 with Bachmann Sound.  I want to set it up on a trestle and run it in place.  Will the bachmann rollers work for this train?  I guess I would need 6 of them for all the drive wheels?  On to DCC equipment.  I have another Bachmann 260 on a trestle that is all setup with a phoenix sound system.  I would like to be able to work both units with a wireless system.  Is the Bachmann E-Z Command Dynamis Wireless Infrared DCC System - 36505 a good controller?  What else would I need to purchase?  If I wire both trestles together as if they were one system I should be able to control them both correct?  Will this system be good enough for a future train layout with two or three g scale trains?  Can I control the smoker in the shay with this control?

The Bachmann E-Z Command Dynamis Wireless Infrared DCC System - 36505 works on a circular track 4 foot diameter.
