n gage train set

I have an n gage set of trains, the only info on the box is:

item no. 4306

EMD F9 LOCO & 4 CARS

SANTA FE

I am trying to see what they may be worth.

Box in bad condition, cars still in their original plastic boxes.  I am not sure if they were ever run.

In the range of $10-$15 if it is not know whether the locomotive works. If the locomotive is known to work and none of the components of the set are damaged then it could fetch up to $20. Note that this is including shipping costs, so effectively if shipping costs $15 for the set, you would only make a maximum of $5 less ebay fees if you choose to go that route. Your best bet is selling it at a garage sale, train show, flea market, or using craigslist or kijji for local pick-up.
