Thanks for that. Some of the problem was that the Liquid Crystal Display is mostly unreadable, and I was counting
to get to the correct position - in fact I was ending up on the Service Track page, so nothing programmed. I have actually had one loco respond in forward and reverse, but the CV entries are unreadable. I am going to have to see whether I can find a technician who is prepared to open up the handpiece and restore the LCD.
