N / New to the N scale hobby

Hi I'm new to the n scale hobby. i have several bachmann loco's and rail cars. Some are in need of maintenance. I'm looking for advice in hardware to make this process fun.   looking for something that will hold the loco's n cars securely  with good access and some sort of magnifying glass/device. Any help with where and what to purchase  would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Tom

I noticed on the product page for : UnionPacific-6927 ProdCode62252

http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/products.php?act=viewProd&productId=3034

there is no mention of the recommended curved track radius. I assume since this is a 16 drive wheel locomotive the minimum track radius would be 19" . Is this correct ?

Thanks
Tom
