I have the Lumberjack trainset (metal track) and bought some additional straight track and two switches left and right. The straight track seems to join the trainset track easily however the switches won`t. They only connect to the newly bought straight pieces.

Should they all join happily or do I need additional connectors?

I`m trying to find out the specifictations for the Lumberjack G scale set powerpack. No details seem available on the websites selling them.

I would like to buy it in the USA but want to check what voltage it is at in case I move to Europe.
