Are they the same as the ones for the first Shay ?

I took out the power pickups (brass tube with a spring brass insert and a ball bearing) plunger
Is there a pic on how it's supposed to look ?
No......  I'm not taking the other truck apart .I already lost one setup ..
Any plunger out there ..it says sold out..any one have a couple ?

Hard to sell gifts..

I have an operating layout track powered etc.. Two TE run the two loops..
This engine just sits  in it's box. not being used.. So I thought ....
Hmm for $100+/- I could have a new engine .. Just a thought..

What drive should I get to update this engine.
Would this replace the battery / remote setup that came with the unit ?

I have and older Climax and I could use a motor cover , as one of mine all 4 corners are breaking were the screw are.
Anyone have one they want to part with ?

Have you looked into using fishing hooks?
Just find a hook  with an eye that the rod will go thru.
Cut the shank off then glue into hole.
