No plastic  wheels.

Here's the MSDS on the longet lasting product I've used to date.
3 years so far with about 10 percent reduction in traction, at the outset.
LPS1.

It's sometimes referred to as Magic Postion.

There's a protocol to follow and can be provided if someone wants to use it.
DCC benefits greatly in the one time application.

See if this helps on your Zepher and decoder.

1K ohm 1/4 watt resistor across the a and b programming terminals.

I notice Jim Banner has commented on this.

General Discussion / Re: Adding a LED

Connect it backwords and it won't work.

Make sure the resistor ohms and wattage is corect forr the voltage source and led.

The resistor connects to the anode of the LED.

The other side of the same resistor connects to Common (+).
The cathode of the LED goes to the switched "output"

Where's the specs that's been submitted to international comittee for fire, and explosion containment. This is the core of the interface. The boundry not to be exchanged. Irrespective of power source - this is first priority.

Aristo-Craft is being honest with their numbers.

Some companies combine both AC and DC in VA.

It's not going to hurt anything using it. You'll know when to change.

The 5490 should be bench checked first to find out reliable  distance.

A 100 ohm 10 watt resistor from Radio Shack can be used for the load.

Motor noise shows up when the locomotive is on the track.

RCS sells several different modules for EMI.

You can put the 5490 where you want.
Black Kat is for  75 Mhz.
E Cubed R/C makes one for 27Mhz too.

From time to time people ask about becoming an engineer.

I saw this article today on Reuters.
