I can provide the ansswer, the locomotives are not fitted with DCC, it can be easily installed though, but not ready. plus if it's USA fitted as in with knuckle couplers then no, they have european "Hook and Loop" couplers. this subject has been brought up and this answer is pretty staight forward so if this topic could be avoided then we won't have any trouble or confusion, if anyone asks just look for this topic because we do get questions like that and it'll be easier if they're just said on the "Everything Thomas" subject. it'll be easier on the computer system.

well with my knowledge of the sound decoders is that you have to do a lot of work to fit the speakers in them and as well as getting the right one in fact, but if you install the sound decoder you have to adjust the drive wheels so that it can make that "Chuffing" and "Puffing" sound. and doing that with bachmann thomas locomotives in HO scale, thats really difficult, If in Large Scale, it's probably a breeze. That is all I know about sound decoders. What I would suggest is going to the parts list and print out the thomas HO scale exploded diagram and put thomas together but with fixed static eyes so you can at least fit DCC and Sound inside of Thomas or anyother Character in the HO range.

thats as much as I know.

All I did was I bought Bachmanns Conductive Lube, just put one drop on the wheels and put some on the brass contacts, clean the tracks really well and percy should run

actually, just for fun, buy a various of bachmann Annie and Clarabel coaches. I talked to thompsonline often and he said he used a plastic friendly solution to pick up the paint work on annie or clarabels names and easily scrap away, dry up, and you have regular Tan Brachline Coaches with faces on them. I will try that later when I have my layout done. maybe you guys would do that.

THANK YOU!  ;D

question 5 was basically asking; is there a screw hole or will it need to be glued down?

I wouldent if I were you, I would make a blank scenery base specifically for the structure, and when I need to move it, I could place it back in the box until I get the layout to the destenation. with out the light house breaking.

hope that answers your question

I have to admit, the temporary sets are amazing, but the background sea in the distance is prettycool too, plus it blends with the sky background. if only I had my own home and the space to do so.

my suggestion for a new product in 2011 is to brng back a percy set, but with Troublesome Truck #2, a cattles truck, and a brake van, simple circle track steel alloy and instrutionsand warranty. just another basic HO Thomas and Frinds set.

hello all,

I believe this is a topic on a thomas layout, but after looking through some old Model RailRoader magazines, I got inspired to build a 2.5X6.5 ft layout of the rev. awdrys layout, Ffarquhar. but I plan to do some modifications, his Quarry staging goes under a signal bridge, and I will use stone paper and foam pieces to create the stone wall going out of Ffarquhar. and since I live in america, use of altas code 100 track necessary because 1. they have great and affordable flex track. and 2. I don't have the money to spend on Peco track. but all in all its just an american replica of his layout because kids would like to see thomas and see his branchline station. I will post Pictures on my photobucket account and see how you guys like it.

I want Bash! ;D

I want Dash! ;D

& I want Ferdinand! ;D

I understand ferdinand, but bachmann will not build an HO scale Bear harbor co. locomotive because of their size and not enough room in the boiler, so in conclusion, Bash and Dash will not be HO scale in the Bachmann future.

sorry dude, just stating facts.
