Are the Alco S2 & S4 body shells interchangeable between the S2 and S4 drive units ?

Now I have a Southern 2-8-0 that takes me back to when I was starting to go train  watching with my Dad , at the Southern yards at Evansville In , so long ago , still have photos of one of them and used to have one of Dad and I with one of the Southern 2-8-0's , of the St Louis Division .

I purchased a new Bachmann HO Alco S-4  at a great price from a leading hobby shop on line , and I am so impressed and pleased  
Right out of the box , it runs fantastic , with my Digitrax DCC system , the Alco starts so slowly  at first click showing  1 on the readout  ,
and the Alco engine sound is great , sounds just like the Alco switchers I watched as a kid  locally .
I am so happy with it , that I ordered another  one  
Now they both look great , Erie Lackawanna  rr , and both sound and operate fantastic

The lettering is in gold , and is about 3/8" high , and about 4" long , or 21 rivits long   

And it is a beautiful model locomotive , sitting here in front of me , I just had to get one  .   

Would someone who has a NEW Annv 4-6-0  lettered ET&WNC  #11  PLEASE measure the height of the lettering and length of the lettering on the coal tender please , and post the info .

I have operated my three 4-4-0 locos around my layouts 5 foot DIAMETER curves pulling cars , the pilot overhangs are not pretty , but they run on the small 5" diameter curves ok .
I had 8 foot dia curves when I purchased the locomotives , where they really worked very well .
They really are BEAUTIFUL locomotives !    

The cost of a product has a lot to do with how many are sold .
In large scale wouldn't a standard screw terminal , be the best place to start , and everybodys favorite method to control the trains , be made to connect to the  screw terminal and go on from there .
  Having 44 years experience in electrical/electronic  maintaince in the military and power industry , I know that screw terminals  work best for maintaince and trouble shooting for years following a new purchase .
I know that many many times a plug is a connection waiting to fail .
And we all know that our large scale trains work perfectly out of the box for years and years , don't we ?

Just the other night was the first time that I operated the Bachmann trolley at night .......................it really looked good with its lights in the dark !   

Please piggyback to Teds post another hope and wish for a large scale version of the streetcar . 

The former German  company did make a complete catenary system that works great outside . 
I operate it everyday  ,  Over 200 feet of main , overhead is POWERED .

Layout is elevated 3 feet . I could not do this at ground level myself .
