Hello Mr. Bach Man

I have a couple of GS4's I'm converting to DCC. I'm using Digitrax decoders. The first GS4 is a newer frame and motor assembly the second is an older unit painted up in the Chessie 2101 scheme.
To further minimize damage to my chips is there a way I can purchase DCC ready frames and how much would the cost be?

I'm interested in seeing if the factory would install a DCC chip in a Spencer engine.  We are members of a train club called the Saginaw River Valley Railroad and our train is setup for the entire month between Thanksgiving and Christmas. On the weekends the real Pere Marquette steam engine (1225) pulls two passenger trains a day to Santa's village where we are setup. Thomas, Gordon and James are always favorites among the children who come. We run them on the DC portion of our trainset.. I would like to get Spencer on the DCC portion as our regularly scheduled passenger train. It would be nice to see the freight trains have to scramble to get their switch jobs done before Spencer comes through! Anyways we're just interested in finding out if the factory would do it and how much the cost would be.
