Thanks for the link, Len. But that won't do the OP any good without knowing what the part number is for body screws! Just sayin

For the body screws if you don't have any at all, take the body to the hardware store and look through the bins for something that works. I needed a couple screws, so I took one off another loco and found something at ACE that worked. It's slightly larger than the stock screw but does the job. I'm not sure I understand your 2nd question, but you'll probably have to do the same with that screw as well, just take the one with you to compare. It's that or go on E-bay and buy some locos are start stripping them for parts. The body screw has threads that look like a wood screw, just so you know.
It's really a sad commentary that Bachmann is letting the brand die by not coming out with anything new or providing any support or parts for the products already out there! Good Luck

You could also just flip the wires at the solder lugs on the motor as well.

Well I'l be a suck egg mule. Dude said it's a Williams, it's a e-bag item. I pulled the cab off and there's no markings as to the maker, but the trucks, and power pick ups sure look like Williams. Are parts interchangable?

Like mentioned in subject, the previous owner has done some things to it that I like and don't like. When I apply power, it starts in Neutral, pressing the direction button puts it into Reverse. I have to go throught the whole cycle to go Forward. What do I need to do to change this to start in forward as it should? Thanks

I'm guessing that my E-unit has finally taken a dump as for the past couple years it would only work one way. When that happened I looked and there were no broken wires. I was running it last night when all of a sudden it stopped, triggering the direction button does nothing. The lights and the sound board are the only thing working. Ideas or thought's? Thanks

I scored a old Alco C628 #6701 a couple months ago that appears to have very little run time on it. With giving it a lube job it runs like a Williams should! Not knowing how many hands this has gone through, someone put a beacon on top of the cab. I think it's cool looking! But what I really want to know is what year/s did Williams produce this loco? Maybe 3 Rail can dig into the archives for me?? Here's a pic. Thanks
