HO / HO Santa Fe 4-8-4 Harness Fix -- Need parts!
February 02, 2013, 09:44:21 PM
Hi guys,

I have a 4-8-4 for Santa Fe that needs a new harness.  The "parts" page does not show they are available for that engine.  Every time I try to fix these with soldering, it gets worse than it was before.

Does anyone know how to fix these themselves?

I tried signing in to the service page to ask but it hangs up and will not let me log in.

Mr. Bach-Man can you help with this??

Best regards,

HO / Re: Sharks in multiple unit consists

Thanks for the feedback.  I will have to mess around with the DCC.  We have an NCE system and stock B-mann decoders.  Not sure what to do but 1 thing for sure, the units were new in the box and I only changed the address.

Here is a question: I can imagine that I will have to "tune" the starting, midrange, and top speed/voltage CV's.  What do you think?

HO / Sharks in multiple unit consists
October 25, 2012, 01:09:09 AM
I have three b-mann sharks that run great alone. When in mulitple unit consists, they fight each other and do not run well at all.  I tried adding weight but that did not help.  The problem manifests itself in DC or DCC operation.  Does anyone have a similar problem?  Is it electrical pick-up?  It does seem better if you clean the track and wheels before running them as a group.  I do not have to do this for any other loco's that I have and run trains quite a bit.

Anyone else get past this problem short of modeling a dead-line or scrapping scene?
