Can someone please tell me which Rails go to Rail A and B on Bachmann Power Terminal Rwrailer to the electrical prongs on Bachmann Curved Terminal Rerailer?
Which Prong goes to Rail "A" and which Prong goes to Rail "B"
I have to place drop power feeders at the other end of my layout
and I have to make sure to match Rail A with A and Rail B with B
I could pull up the track and take it apart but not an option.

Bachmann Support finally got back to me.
They replied:
"You can return now but we have to wait until at least June 4th when the governor allows us to we think when Phila. goes into the yellow phase."

Well at least thats something... I hope if they do not have the same model, I'm ok with them swapping the shell onto a frame with same DCC functionality.

The F5 Flashing Light No Longer flashes.
System Decoder Reset cycles through all systems test.
Top Nose Light does not come on during reset nor when F5 is pressed.

I purchased a NEW Bachmann
HO EMD E7 Burlington Route Locomotive
From a vendor that is DEFECTIVE.
I am the first time owner purchased it retail
The Problem is the vendor does not have a replacement
I can swap out because they have sold out.

Vendor Recommended returning it to Bachmann since
Its NEW and I am 1st time owner of the locomotive.

The vendor was really trying to make things right. My only option is to send to Bachmann its NEW and still under warranty as I just purchased it new and retail. They just dont have the same model and will not be getting any new in.

QUESTION: What is Bachmann ability to swap out something like this with a new or repair? Even with the Pandemic are they Closed?

Are we looking at a really long wait?

I am starting feel this brand new MTH is a Dudd
It should work with EZ-COMMAND  even DC mode.

Before even posting on Bachmann forums.
And nothing works. Very surprised because never
had any problems with my other DC and DCC
Locos. Never a problem.

This locomotive is both DC/DCC operating and it doesn't even
power on out of the box for either  DC or preprogrammed
DCC settings.

Seen posts on Google people having similar problems
With EZ-COMMAND DCC controller system and MTH DCC locomotives. Unfortunately we dont have the budget
to upgrade our DC/DCC system.

Anymore thoughts about EZ-COMMAND DCC Controller
and its compatibility with MTH Locomotives?

Has there ever been any issues running a MTH HO Proto Sound3(PS3) on a Bachmann EZ Command DCC controller?

I just purchased a MTH HO (NEW) DASH-9 Locomotive and it WILL NOT MOVE or Power Up even in F3 mode or PressingF3. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Note For budget reasons I use EZ-COMMAND DCC. My Bachmann EZ-COMMAND DCC is the latest version runs existing other DCC Locomotives with no Issues. Here is a view of my DCC+DC 7x4 Layout:

Thats a good Idea on setting up a Program Track so I dont have accidentally reset all my DCCs. Its a real pain.

DCC Program track is now added on my "To Do" list.

Well, been a model Railroader for 40yrs DC, then got back in with my 8yr old 2yrs ago with DCC.  So thats my experience with DCC. We managed to design a layout 8 DCCs and 7 DCs on track at same time where Bachmann turn table controls the DC units like an old fashion Atlas Connector without any extra wiring: https://flic.kr/p/2gvjBTg

In Regards to other details were only my inspection of the fuctinality issues and that I could purchase a new DCC board which is an exact match found here: http://estore.bachmanntrains.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8337
I have replaced other DCC boards just in my 2yrs exp. With DCC so this might do the trick if the board is flaky.

Unfortunately I do not have anything like a Zephyr DCS 52 to reset the CV Numbers. Just a Bachmann DCC EZ-Command controller for now until the wife approves funds for an DCC upgrade controller. 

But your suggestion to reset CVs makes sense. I may try taking the loco up to my local hobby store... and if the prognosis is a new board recommendation, I will order a replacement from Bachmann

6 months ago I purchased a Bachmann HO Scale EMD GP40 Locomotive Train Diesel Santa Fe Flyer DCC. It was new but from a vendor on ebay. It ran really great for a while but now its broken. It suddenly stopped  working! I checked the wiring..all good. Lights come on. It just doesn't reverse. Or hesitation moving forward or nothing. Just lights. Wheeles and tracks clean.

Where do I send it for Repairs? Will it cost me an arm and leg?

After much testing and thought, I wanted to share how I've found a way to Ballast EZ-TRACK without it looking like a powdery mess on your layout. For me this worked. Advise practice on a few tracts after watching my video. But my work around to Ballast EZ-TRACK in minutes will work.

IMPORTANT: One should only Ballast EZ Track after you are 100% Confident your layout is in place. Leave the sections you are unsure if they will change as unballasted. This video may not work for everyone, but I feel its the best simplist video out there that doesn't make EZ-TRACK look like a powder mess when ballasting EZ-TRACK.

Just trying to help out fellow modelers and save them some time.

Thanks everyone. After much debate we decided to keep the Steamer. Even though the smoke unit doesn't work, It just looked too good on our layout. And yes, other Steamers with smoke Units are great for kids watch ooh-ing and ahhh-ing but for the Railroad Modeler, IT DOES MAKE AN OILY MESS

Hi All
Need some advise,
I purchased a really beautiful never opened sealed Bachmann 660 HO Santa Fe #3781 Northern 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive with Smoke from Ebay. Its in excellent condition but the Smoke drops do not activate the Smoke Unit. I even let it run for an hour and still NO SMOKE. The Locomotive had been sealed for many years never opened.

QUESTION TO THE FORUM: Any suggestions to get the smoke unit to work? Could the Smoke Fluid be too old even if sealed for many years? Do I try more recent Smoke Fluid Purchased from Bauchmann which is Bauchmann Item No. 00251 ? Please addvise? Thx
