I am in search of the trucks that are on the FT diesels with the easy app version, such as model #68902. These trucks are different from the earlier versions in that the middle of the ends of the trucks have a recess in them on the upper half, so they are not blunt on the ends. I am making custom coupler mounts in order to install the coupler heads closer to the locomotive for a more realistic prototype spacing between the locomotives in my ABBA set. I had ordered what I needed from Ruth at Bachmann, and they were not right, so she sent another set and they were the same and not right, either. I was told that's all that they have. The model number of what they sent is H615X-00A0-PR-B. The online catalog also shows another model number, but I was told that they are both the same.
Does anyone have any ideas for me?

I have the Spectrum USRA 2-6-6-2 and the motor is not working. I have put track power to the two pins of the plug and it won't go. Will that even work, or do I need to be able to put track power through the tender pick up wheels and then on to the motor? I need to remove the boiler shell to test the motor. I see on the exploded view that the sand domes have to come off to get to the two screws. I have been using my spudgers to try to get under the sand domes to pop them off, but to no avail. I know better than to grab the sand domes with a pair of pliers. Can Anybody tell me how you do it?
