Just an update on which led I used...It's an Evans Design 5mm led, with a Bridge rectifier, a capacitor, and a resistor. It's working well.

Hi Bob, I did not see any seam...But here is what I did: on the bottom of the housing is an opening where the wires come thru. I cut away part of the opening with a rail nipper and was able to insert my tweezers and push out the reflector and lens. Removed old bulb and installed new bulb. Reassembled everything and its working good. Thank You for your help.

Got the shell open...need to pry front of tender off, pull out weight with pcb attached, then install decoder, kind of a dumb way to install decoder. I will not use this tender. That is all...

Hi all, I have a Bmann 4 8 4 overland limited (union pacific-dcc ready) steamer with the vanderbilt oil tender...how do I remove the shell from the tender base? I removed 3 small screws, but nuttin' is happening...Help Please?
