General Discussion / crossover problem
March 03, 2016, 04:18:51 PM
I have a NS EZ-track DC remote right hand crossover and the engine stops at the frog.  I think we have a short in the crossover. I have five others and they work fine.  Is there a chance I have connected the green wires wrong.  On the bottom of the crossover it talks about flipping the green wire, but I am not sure I understand if this is necessary since I believe the instructions say it doesn't matter if the frog is metal.

Thanks

I have a Bachmann EZtrack layout that has several switches and some crossovers and would like to convert them to DCC.  I'am a complete idiot when it comes to electricity.  Is there an easy way for someone like me to do the conversions. The more I read, the more confused I get.  Thinking of throwing in the towel for the fourth time trying to get train layouts to function.  I started with HO, went to Lionel then to G scale, then to N scale and back to HO.  Have spent thousands of dollars and have had very little to show for it.

Thanks

I am not sure of the model. It is an Alaska RR diesel which was sold as the Mckinley Explorer set.

HO / DC to DCC
November 08, 2015, 01:45:54 PM
I use the E-Z track system with turnouts, crossovers and one wye.  I have plugged in the polarity connector on the bottom of the switches etc., and need to know what will happen when I run two trains that are DC, will they short out?  Also can I run more than one DCC train on a DC layout.

Thanks

HO / Part Numbers
August 22, 2015, 05:40:55 PM
I recently received HO EZ track and on the back of the track sections there is a number that is not the same as the actual part number.  How can I cross-reference these numbers so I can order additional track.

Thanks
