I just received my 3 truck Climax back after being retrofitted with new gears. What a great looking engine and runs just as good. It pulled 6, 3+oz log cars plus a Kadee bobber up a 4% grade with on trouble. Thanks Bachmann.

Does anybody have a 3 truck shay they are parting out. I broke the cross beam, or what you call it,that holds the side frames together, taking the engine out of the box. I have new side frames so I just need the cross piece or an old truck,doesn't matter which truck.  Bachmann climes the trucks are out of stock, check back in a month.

I just replaced the side frames on my Shay like you said, thanks for the advice. Like you said the service was great. It took a bit of time to change the frames but it was worth the effort. I'm glad I read your post.  Now if I could get my Climax to work.
