I have both a left (#44137) and right (#44138) DCC #6 Single Crossover Turnouts.  I am using a Digitrax DCS 51.  I had the switches programmed to work as Switch 1 for the Right Turnout and Switch 2 for the Left Turnout.  Every thing was working great for a week.  Now Switch 1 is not functioning.

I put the right turnout on a separate set of tracks with the DCS 51. Turned the power on to the tracks and switch.  Checked to make sure power went from one end of the track, through the switch and out to the other end of the track. Have power end to end.  I removed the programming button cover. Used a pen to press the programming button for two seconds.  But the turnout did not toggle at all.

I had this problem in January 2014 (2013 Christmas gift) on this switch and had to send it to Bachmann.  I am hoping that I can find a solution so that I can run my multitude of locomotives on my layout this year.  Don't want to send it out.

Thanks for the help.

My right single crossover turnout DCC switch # 44138 has stopped working.  All the other DCC switches are working just great.  How do I reset the switch?

HO / Re: magnets under track
December 05, 2013, 04:49:16 PM
I use the Kadee couplers on all of my HO cars.  I am using the Bachmann track.  I could not get the cars to uncouple by placing the magnet under the track, so I placed in between the rails. ::)

HO / Streetcar BAC 80202 wnat to install sound
February 12, 2013, 04:32:50 PM
I just bought the BAC 80202 and love the way it operates on the BAC reversing track system.  Now I want to put sound in to the streetcar.  Today, the Bachmann rep told me that they use Soundtraxx decoder for their equipment.  I went to the Soundtraxx site and found that their sound systems are for Locos and not for streetcars.  The description on the 80202 states that the streetcar is "designed for aftermarket sound system installation."  Any idea what type of decoder I can use on this model of streetcar?  Any help will be most appreciated!

HO / HO Auto Reversing track
February 06, 2013, 03:14:36 PM
I have a small village that I set up at Christmas.  I am looking at getting Streetcar 80202 to run back and forth on a small area.  I saw item 44547 with lot of reversing equipment.  I area I have is 72" Long X 15" wide that I would like to run the streetcar.  I think that seven 9 " straight track with a bumper (44591) at each end is all the room that I have. How many straight reversing track pieces do I need?  Can I use my standard HO transformer or do I have to have a DCC power unit.  Also the 80202 can have an aftermarket sound system installed but I have know idea what I should be looking for to put sound in to the streetcar.

HO / HO Replacement of 44561 left remote switch
February 03, 2012, 11:17:34 AM
I am replacing all of my remote switches with DCC crossovers and switches.  Which DDC left switch do I use to replace the 44561 remote left switch.  I still want the 18 degree radius curve on the switch.  I bought the 44139 and that is the wrong one.

HO / Bachmann #44139 & #44140 DCC switches
January 14, 2012, 03:06:55 PM
I am changing my layout from using the Bachmann remote switches to the DCC types.  I have not bought a train control yet but I am looking at the Digitrax Zephyr xtra.  Is it going to be easy to work the switches and if so how do I set up the switches?  Or should I buy a Bachmann train control?  If so, which one?  At the most I would probably have up to 4 trains running on dual tracks.   My 7 engines are 45 plus years old and decoders are being installed in the engines that can handle the decoder.  I just order the Bachmann #46299 turntable to work with my E-Z track. Any other help would be most appreciative.
