N / Re: DCC reverse loop for N guage
May 08, 2016, 03:17:58 PM
Apparently those instructions went bye-bye during renovations.
I was told that I didn't need to solder, or wire anything.  All I needed was plastic rail joiners for standard prices of track.  Unfortunately for me, no details were given.  That's what I need, the details.

Thank you to all

N / DCC reverse loop for N guage
May 01, 2016, 05:09:17 PM
Hi all, long time no see;
I'm not going to ask if anyone knows how, because I know the answer is yes. ;D
The questions I do have are:

Question 1) Is there a way to create a reverse loop using just ez track plastic joiners and the reverse loop module.

Question 2) Would someone provide some detailed instructions on how to do this.  I have an idea, but hearing it from people in the know would be beyond awesome.  My track plan does not call for a reverse loop, but I'd like to add one.

Thank you all so very much.

N / And then ??

I used to run HO. So assuming I can get the joiners off WITHOUT pulling of the rail as well, can I then just plug  everything else in as usual.  No wiring, soldering, or stuff like that?  The genetic powers that be have made it abundantly clear, I no longer have that ability.

Anyway thank you

Be safe railing this holiday.  Don't drink and rail.

N / Re: N Scale equivalent

Is it safe to assume that using part number 44897, and cutting the rails, very VERY scary, and using the reverse loop modules, I can create a reverse loop for my N scale DCC layout?

Thank you

N / N Scale equivalent
November 13, 2015, 08:57:33 PM
No DCC switches for N scale.  Boo Hoo Hoo.  Okay fine.  I have my reverse loop modules leftover from my HO days.  already set to N scale.
The question is: Is there an N scale equivalent to the HO part no. 44597.

Yes I'd much prefer a pre-built insulated piece.

Thank you.

You guys rock.

N / DCC Switches/Turnouts
November 08, 2015, 05:31:40 PM
Hello trainworld.  Been a while, so I'll get right to it.
I've searched here (this site), and many other places looking for DCC Switches for N scale ez track.  I have come up with absolutely zilch.  Does any know if this animal even exists?  If so, where?  I'm willing to spend money I don't have for them.   ;D
I read how it (the switch) can be wired to work, but I don't have that ability.

Thank you all for your assistance.

N / Re: Auto Reversing Module

Okay, I guess the question should have been is there any EZ track, that has the insulated gap already in it (i.e. 44597 in HO) for N scale?  Additionally If the answer to the previous question is 'yes' then what is the part number.  I've been through the N scale track listing with no success. Lastly, at least for now, is there specific wires  to attach the module to the track?  I don't think the wires I have for the HO will fin on an N scale piece of track.   ;D

Thanks to all of you for your responses.

N / Auto Reversing Module

Hello all;
I was a HO user of Bachmann ez track.  Downside I had 'plans' to try but lacked the table space.  So I'm slowly migrating to N scale.  Hence my screen name.  ;) I have 2 auto reverse modules that state they are able to be used for N scale.
My question is can I use the same modules or are there modules specific to N scale?  Also is it safe to assume that there is the same special track pieces in N as in HO?
