Ive been building a 1/64 scale farm set for a few years and want to put a train into the set but to do the 1/64 scale equivalent (S Scale) it will be to expensive. If I was to use HO Scale would it be to noticeable of a difference or could I get away with it.

I really don't care weather it is originale or American conversions I would just like to see more Canadian rolling stock there many varieties of hoppered grain cars but a very slim choice of boxcars and flatdecks.

Ok I am slightly new at this and what exactly is DCC 

I have an old 2-6-0 Steam locomotive and cars from the late 70s to early 80s and wondering if I could add on to the the old track with new track and make it larger or if I need to start with a new locomotive and cars on a completely new track layout?

I'm planning on adding a train to my 1:64 scale farm set and I am wondering what would be a good style of train to incorporate into my set. The set is based on a more modern farm in southern Alberta Canada. All Suggestions welcome I have no price limit to speak of.
