Would On30 rolling stock and motive power look ridiculously out of place operating on an HO layout?

Can you run DC locos and engines on a DCC  layout, and can you run a 4-8-2 locomotive on an 18 inch radius turn? And if you can,t, what is the largest loco you CAN run on a layout with 18 inchradius curves? Thanks mcfly5040

ftp://I have purchased two Bachmann 4-8-2 locos, two three truck shays  and one Climax loco, all Bachmann products. Would they all be DCC ready, and if so which decoders do I buy? All my other locos are DCC equipped, and I am in the process of building my first DCC layout in HO.

most of my locomotives are DCC equipped, and the rest are DCC ready. Those would be the Shays, and the climax as well as the Proto PA loco

I recently purchased the River Pass 4x8 HO layout complete kit, by Woodland Scenics. I want to wire it for DCC, but don't know what system, or size of system required for a 4x8 layout. I read DCC made easy by Kalmbach Publishing, and grasp the concept, but need help in what system to buy; i.e. power supply , booster etc. Most of my engines are Bachmann, and the track system for River Pass is Atlas track. Would appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks mcfly5040
