the locos look great, but alas they anrt me but many will be pleased! And many say you dont listern,  but you did produce a new Caboose , which will complete the SR+RL  freights but not much good to anybody else  ( no sour grapes!)

Yes I agree with Eric !  Mr Bachmann if it was  possible that all the tenders from the 2-6-0 , 2-8-0 and both 4-4-0's were available it would be a great and welcome addition to you now wonderful range

It was mentioned here a while ago about the SAR class 91 diesel, which were build in the US by GE , model number UM6B's with the Classic GE look would be a great type to concider for a model.What do you think? the bottem picture with the bachmann plup wood flats!

Love the 0-4-0st saddle tank! here in australia there are a few preserved and like that one are very attractive and could make fine model prospects

I agree with nick. It is a hard thing choosing a selling type, As much as i adore our G alss there were only 2 and only here in Victoria and the SAR NGG- 16 although now a great preserved type all over the world, is pretty limited. Could you amaginge a K-28 at puffing billy? hard to do.

But I do believe that a garrett would be an excellent choice to produce maybe some thing along the simple garrett lines of an NGG 11 or simular that would fit in any time or place.

What do you think Mr Bachmann?

Lets not give up on the Idea of a garrett  there to good to pass by!

Its again a hard choice I love the 2-6-2t Na's like at Puffing Billy and would be a first chice for me, but in saying that the Hawaian 0-6-2st would most likely sale well and would be hard to resist

Thanks for the imformation superthomasfan on the NGG-16 in the USA. It looks just at home there with its SAR rolling stock. Goes to show that they look good no matter where they are , and I agree the little K 1 from Tasmania is a little Gem! Really its where the who Garrett thing started so now today they found an active place in Railways all over the world

A great suggestion was made here a while back, that perhaps a new Curved roof both plain / corragated styles be produced as an accessory to be a replacement for the Box/ cattle cars and reefer cars.

The could be sold like the new replacement underframes in a 3 pack.

What about Mr Bachmann?

Is int funny how far of track this has got. ebtnut ( whom I an guessing like the East Broad Top ) produced a great pic of a great loco. Yes we do all model different proto types , but lets be honest its a model no REAL. and American narrow Gauge is 3 Foot gauge not 30 inch so that would make anything produced out of place for those wanting US northwest models, wouldnt it?

Yes the Victorian Railways here had built 2 30inch gauge garretts G41 - 42 of which G42 has been restored and is running again almost every day here in Melbourne. They also do have a SAR NGG-16 which they hope to restore and regauge to 30inch, But our G class is much bigger and bulkier .I have a freind who had on hand built in 1/4 inch scale G class made and it is 12inches long and big but is a little smaller than his MMI K-27.But a model of a garrett would be welcome
