There is not a control you can use for just the Horn with the OEM decoder in your locomotive.

CV 129 is the Whistle Volume Control and the factory default value is 255, which is maximum volume.

According to the Configuration Variable Defaults for the J Class 4-8-4 the Tsunami's built-in equalizer (controlled by CVs 153 thru 160) not available to the modeler with the decoder in the locomotive you have.

Bachmann on board Tsunami are dumbed down sound decoders compared to the Tsunami you buy and install yourself. Not a big deal if you do not count all the rivets. That way Bachmann can sell sound locos at a price some can afford.
I have both types and happy with them.

Well, guess I still can live and learn, because after paying about $300 (not cheap) because this locomotive had a SoundTraxx Tsunami decoder only to find it has some dummied-down SoundTraxx Tsunami decoder. I got took. I am retired and can't afford this kind of waste of train dollars.

Thank you very very much. I did the reset and it was let there be lights. Only one tiny little issue more and that's the weak crazy sounding air horn. I know how to increase the volume but it still does not get loud enough. I know the N&W J had a typical strange horn but if any one knows what equalizer numbers to plug in to change the pitch I'd appreciate it. BTW would a speaker change help?
Thanks again.

The unit lacks any front locomotive light or rear tender light. The NCE cab won't work the lights, I've tried everything, nothing works and the Tsunami instruction guide is for the most part in Greek. HELP!
