Hi,  I am new to 0n30 and bought a 4-6-0 with sound - I noticed there is no lubrication or basic disassembly info with this engine?

I understand polarity reversal caused from a crossover when four turnouts are added to form a oval.  Seems like the simplest thing to do is isolate the sections of straight track between the turnouts?  I am wondering what is the best way to electrically control these isolated pieces of track?  Would a DCC controller help at all?   what are "loop controllers?

I just received a new on30 Forney and found a rather noisy (buzzing) sound when slowly starting to move.  If I hold the tender or put resistance the sound goes away.  Seems like some part vibration.  I am planning to install sound so I removed the tender housing and ran it.  Buzzing still occurred.   sound seems to be coming from the rear (tender area)

Any help?  has this been a common problem?
