How about making a new start and offering one or more 19th Century 4-4-0's in S scale. There's a whole new market justr waiting to be tapped.

S has quite a following in the U.S. Old time rolling stock is easy to come by via Bachmann's On30 line. There was probably more of a following in S than there was in 0n30 when you consider that Bachmann had to invent it then develop a market for it. I just keep thinking what I could do with an S scale JUPITOR old time 4-4-0. I'd enclose a photo of a boxcar I temporarily converted with S scale trucks, but I haven't figured out how to enclose a photo.

I have a COLORADO & SOUTHERN 2-6-0 that I bought last summer. It is a beautiful litttle engine, and I considered using it for an Sn42 layout. However, it is a little large for that, but a simple re-gauging would put it right on target as an S scale standard gauge locomotive. Any chance of seeing something like that in an S scale format?

You guys are worried about a caboose? How about an S scale old time 4-4-0, such as the Jupitor in HO?

Also, still no S scale 4-4-0 - Ah, well, there's always hope. I think S is the only scale Bachmann doesn't offer anything in, yet.

I guess I could be considered an orphan, if that is what it takes. I have built many S scale models over the years, including a fleet of brass locomotive kits from Locomotive Workshop.

I recently purchased a Bachmann Jupitor 4-4-0 on Ebay. Right now, I'm waiting for a chance to rewire it. I also have a few other HO locomotives for comparison.

I just thought this 4-4-0, or the UP version, would be a good locomotive for someone like Bachmann to get their feet wet. Besides, I could have plans for hem and/or a 2-6-0

As long as we're wishing, would I be out of line to ask if there is any possibility of some of Bachmann's 0n30 and or HO products (locomotives, etc.) being offered as S scale models. I've got some great ideas for an old time S scale layout. I know I could do them in 0n30, or even HO, but I've been in S scale for over forty years and counting.

Imagine the possibilities a JUPITOR 4-4-0 in S could open up
