"Out of stock" means "We don't have any and don't expect to get any more."
"Back ordered" means "WE don't have any now, but more are expected soon."
So Lanny was telling you where you could now search for one.
Gene

Ah, I see your point. They said they were waiting for more from bachmann, so I was wondering if bachmann has any in stock so I can put some sort of estimate to when I'll get it, because I already ordered one VIA Micromark because they have a sale on.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a 2-8-0 from MicroMark. They said it was out of stock, and is waiting for more. I was if Bachmann has any.

Thanks,
Mark

It always seems someone mis-reads or doesn't read my posts correctly....

Thanks for all the help. I'll just save up for a BLI mike, because if I bought the athearn one for $50+$150 for sound stuff=$200 when I could get a better, more powerful WITH sound BLI one for $135 or $150 (trainworld).

Hmm... That's interesting. I thought Genesis was better than that...

Maybe I'll save up for a BLI mike instead.

Sheldon is correct that labor costs were less in the '50s and many things done mechanically or in bulk today were handled by manual labor then.  I'm still having a hard time convincing a couple of young club members that a boxcar full of lumber would often be uloaded by hand in 1957.
Gene

You're not having a hard time with me.

I would say ESU loksound. The sound sync. problems are with steam engines, because they had four chuffs per revalution (SP?), and diesels have the hum of the engine.

Flying pumps I beleive are airpumps. They compress air for the brakes.

Micromark may not be selling them, but I am very sure that bachmann makes a 4-4-0 with sound.

rik, they 4-4-0s are available with sound now. Try going to micromark.com, they have great deals on spectrums with and without sound.

Sheldon, Stewart...

Just stop bickering. This is getting stupid.  >:( Note the "I do not need this lecture" thread has been deleted. This started out a fine thread.... Now it's starting to look like " I do not need this lecture II" :(
I agree, what is the bickering all about anyways?
To me it seems totally unneeded, your acting like children, oops thats me...
No, your a teen. I'm a child... for only 5 more months though.
