The yellow might work. It would be like a soft white light maybe. Keep us all posted and maybe some pictures when you are finished.  :)

What Lee suggested would be the way to go. I bet the 24volt would be a better choice but let us know what you use and how it turned out.  :)

I am sure you could swap it out but those sound boards are not for sale yet. I do hope that They will be available someday. I am glad Joey likes his new engine and everyone is having fun running trains.  :)

Yes it can be done and Boxcar Bill sells a modified Lionel version that works well. You can see a video on his website. A great person to talk and deal with.

Congrats on your new engines and they will be great engines. I have two NW2 (NS) switchers and they are great looking and running engines. In fact I have about 20 WBB engines now in my fleet and everyone of them are great runners and  have not given me any issues. I have two of the new RS3's Seaboards on order and cannot wait to get them. Happy Railroading Cobrabob8.

They are the same as Lionel O gauge track pins and I use them when I use K-Line snap track. I cut off the connectors on snap track and use the pins and it works great.

I am using a Z4000 for conventional mode and that is pure sine wave which works great. I also have two TCP 300 with two 180 Bricks which puts out chopped sine wave and they work as well no issues for the horn or bell on all my WBB engines.

The true Blast II is a very good replacement for sound and I get them at my LHS for around 40.00 and I use them all the time.

As GG1onFordsDTandI  said the old Lionel board does need new caps and insulation on the bottom of the board against the frame. As for me I just replace it with TBII. Just my opinion. :)

Those are for the steam generator inside when they started using those engines for passenger service they had to have hot water for the passengers so they only place to install a hot water system was in that back of the F3's so those are for the generator. My friend modeled it after a photo of that same engine. He made those from scratch.

The airplane is a K-Line model and I just video the train and did not realize it came out that way. I am not a very good video person. Just luck on that one.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I have really gone crazy over these Williams engines. I called my LHS today looking for my two RS3 Seaboards but have not made it in yet.

Thank you very much. I really enjoy all my WBB trains. My friend does the detailing for me and he tries to get them close to the real thing. I can not wait to get my RS3 seaboards. Thanks again.
