Nope nothing fancy, it was painted with Krylon Semi-Flat black spray paint. Turned out well, the running boards and cab roof were painted with Krylon ruddy brown primer.

Large / Some of Bachmann bashed models.......

Some pictures of my recent Annie (4-6-0 Bachmann) bash. Although now I am upgrading it to the Anniversary drive and it is going to be converted to battery power and R/C. I am buying a battery trailing car (AMS Stock Car) to put everything in i.e. servos, batteries, etc.

Before

After

Also, some pictures of my Bachmann bobber bash (also G scale)

And some more pictures of my flatcars and boxcar bashes......

Thanks Bachmann for providing such great models to work with!

Anyone else have some G models they want to share?  ;D

Thats what I plan on doing. I am going to switch out the drives with my 5th generation Big Hauler which split a gear, with a new Annie drive. It was this or pay $142 to Bachmann for the new drive, where I can just go out and buy an Annie loco and all for $100. I have a friend who will be giving me another 5th generation drive and then I will use that under the ex-Annie. I am converting my New Annie to battery power, but the 2nd loco will stay track powered.

Personally, I was disappointed that Bachmann decided to go with track powered lighting on their great coaches. Track powered lights are always flickering, and if you stop the train, the lights go off, not very prototypical in my opinion. Also, track power can increase drag, limiting train size. When I buy some of the new coaches, I am converting them to battery powered lights before they even touch the rails. Just my 2 cents.
