We don't know yet.
It seems they corrected their mistakes on the large scale models, however. ;)

Agreed.
This kind of behaviour is disgraceful, disgusting and dispicable! >:(

Is that supposed to be Duke or Bertram? (because of the dark brown)
#79
Any ideas? Blue Mountain Mystery is coming and Duke is said to return! ;D

Um... S.A.C.... Duck didn't appear in Season 1 and the model is exactly the same in Season 12, just a smaller face, that's all. :-\

I lol'd when he didn't have a price yet. :D

Random joke: "OMG DUCK IS FREEEEEEEE!! FREE AS A BIRD!"

Ah.
Unless someone made a Large-Scaled version of her class before (Stirling).

Boco sadly had his last use on the set in series 5.

Since then, he's only been seen in magazine stories, his TV model hasn't been CGI'd, so it is highly possible that he won't be making a comeback to the stories anytime soon, and I'm afraid that goes for other classic characters too. I've watched most of the episodes up to Series 15, and a lot of characters seem to have been sent packing.

Daisy however, was seen briefly in Calling All Engines, but i think that was the last time her model was used for that particular feature-length special. Again, a lot of the classic characters have not seen signs of coming back.

Don't give up hope on him just yet, the new writer might have a chance of bringing the characters back as he did work on some magazine stories that were adapted into Season 3 episodes and they obviously had classic characters in them. There will be a time and a place for everyone... I'm sure. 8)

According to the recent news, they're making Bachmann Emily, Scruffey and Brake Van. ;)

I'm not sure if it has been discontinued or not. We shall find out later on. Onto another topic, who has noticed that Hornby has brought back their model of Bear?
Yeah, good thing I got a model of Bear last year along with D261/The Diesel in which Bear was discontinued at the time! ;D
I really wish they would bring back more great stuff like the Circus trucks and the Flying Scotsman... FS looks so cool... even if he does have Gordon's face, it makes sense since he's a brother/twin of his... :-\

Another reason... he's our Number 11! ;D
It's good to get all the main-numbered engines done as well. ::)

Also remember that the season 12 faces on the models were dramatically altered when making the full CGI switch. For example, Arry and Bert's season 12 faces were PUNY compared to their full CGI faces. Compare this photo of their season 12 faces:

...to their full CGI counterparts:

This holds true for all the other characters as well, including Thomas. Just look at this:

VERSES

So, even if Bachmann does decide to use a CGI face for Duck, I'm sure it would be far better compared to the sad excuse of a face that HiT gave Duck in season 12. Though I highly doubt this will happen, ya never know what HiT will do :P

Whenever I see that screenshot of 'Arry and Bert's Season 12 faces in that episode, I somehow see more of the ladderless Class 08 in them. ;)

has anybody seen Murdoch lately? I haven't seen any of those awful animated episodes.
It's not awfully aimated, it's quite well done. But it's the writing that needs to improves which will hopefully happen in the second half of Season 16 and for the rest ofthe Seasons to come. ;)

Yeah, Duke would be great to return.
Apprently, Bertram is being relaunched too, although I doubt this... could he be returning too? His tank engine form is being remade so if he were to return, maybe he would be in his tank engine form or his normal tender form... ???

Which HiTs decisions are influenced by what the fans want.

While kids may be the target audience of the show, it seems us older fans are more the target audience of the Bachmann models. That's "so."  ::)

I don't think "so."! ;D
Young children can still play with model trains (not too young ones, though)
HiT's pretty much like "We'll give what they "want" and if they don't like it, Haters gonna hate."

@thomasj219 what about Diesel's, then? He got a CGI face and not a model face (I may know reasons why the face wasn't made) so I guess CGI won that "contest".
