Well at least with the Warbaby J they don't have to change up their tooling that much, they'd only need a new boiler casting and some minor details and boom u got it

I'm franky sick of seeing anything Pennsy, I hate belpaire fireboxes, if i ever had a K4 i'd probably cut the box-like look off the firebox. But as far as the GG-1, it's a model that's been outdone way too much, in my opinion they're going to try and make an engine that has wide range of roadnames.

Williams by Bachmann / Re: West Springfield Show
February 08, 2010, 11:30:32 AM
I have to say, I was  really impressed by the Williams display layout at the show. The trains having a ton of track in a confined space as well as taking extremely steep grades, had a wow factor  :o

speaking of combines, they were often used on branch-lines along with freight cars in consist, in this case they often used it as the caboose rather than tacking on a caboose altogether

I find it disappointing when others try to ridicule others spelling and go completely off-topic of what they're trying to figure out. I work with alot of foreign people on a game server who's owner is FRENCH even and yet sometimes she doesn't get everything right, although most of our players are American and we retain the "English only" rule. My job as admin would be to mute people who tried to single out people who couldn't spell because it's downright mean and ignorant. This hobby is supposed to be fun, not frustrating, so please in the future have respect for others.

Sorry to be a pain
But can any of you tell me which is the driving trailer.
I assume these are loco hauled push pull coaches.
They just look like a modern coach set to me, that I like' and I don't want to get caught out by purchasing the wrong one first.
As an after thought where can I get a Bachmann SJ steam loco that is defiantly a Chinese one, and is unusual in the fact it has an air horn and steam whistle as well.
regards John

JS or SY?

yes the spectrum 2-8-2 is a modern(very modern might I add the last ones were built in the 1980's) chinese SY prototype. I wouldn't pay more than $15 for the 2-8-2 or trhe consolidation, but I'd still buy a few.

I have about a half dozen now that I can use to run, or for parts for the running locomotives

i have two versions of the consolidations, one has a complete metal frame pancake motor and the other has a metal frame with a white detachable motor(box-like but not a can motor and deffinitely not pancake) I have to say although after a while the motor gets noisy and screamy on the white motor ones, when ran-in correctly and given constant maintenance I have had one with a weighted tender pull 56 cars on level track, the other version(pancake) i have two copies of and I'm waiting to test those and see how they perform
