maybe bachmann shouldn't make a gp-40,sd-40 or gp-38 with that kind of logic

depends -GET REAL STEAM GENE proto 2000 is better than bachmann and almost as good as atlas .

use a drop of dish soap in water and wet well. i use elmers glue all and it works great

model powers n scale is still trainset quality , their steam locos have alot of problems still. model power has a long long way to come

easier to replace the trucks with atlas 100 ton roller bearing trucks with knuckle couplers
