hi, what i meant was i cant find it for purchase.  i know what it looks like from the magazine.  but i cant find it on ebay and the local hobby shop doesnt have it.  they would order it but charge me top dollar.  not in this economy.  going to a train show in aug.  maybe i will get lucky and someone will have it.

thanks Ray, 2 questions.  you said just slide the ties under the track but my track in sealed with the ballast.  do i have to rip it up.  if so i think i will just wait for the next layout to do that.  2nd question is the train depot.  i figured my layout was a farm out in the country so it would be just a passing train.  i actually worked about 4 hours on it last night.  i really dont have much left to do.  i should be done by thursday.

hi Ray,  how do i get the ties on the track.  do i have to rip up the ballast.  thanks.  all i have on the layout right now is the track and a plasticville farm and some animals.  going to do a lot this weekend.

house
swing set
2 roads
crossing gate
farmers market
trestle bridge
pond
airplane
diecast farm machines and cars

so will see if i can get it all done.  i think the hardest will be the pond and hooking up the swingset and crossing gate.  the other stuff is just put it in and done.

good idea.  my track is ten feet long and i did the ballast all at once.  think next time i will do it in halves.  also i used the green grass mat.  now i realize that was probally not a good idea.  it looks just too  uniform.  but with the track now nailed and ballasted down guess thats it.  i guess i could use the ground cover to break it up and just throw it over the grass.  also this morning i just learned about foam and cork.  my track is right on the matted grass on the plywood.  kinda loud.  but the ballast seems to help some too.  oh well.
