I'm also curious about this. Also will it still be compatible with the Spectrum Med. Vanderbuilt tenders? Thanks,

How'bout a dare I even say it a.......new climax.....
I'd say at this point the number one locomotive on my HO scale list would be a Baldwin 2-8-2 logger, based off of Centralia-Chehalia's #15

It would go great with the current logging locomotives, and would also be at home on a shortline.

Frankly I'd be willing to spend another $5 to have it packeged nicely, and I doubt it would even cost that much more, as far as I know Bachmann's the only one doing this, really the only shortcomming of their new products.

Yes, almost all Hawaiiian railroads were 3 foot, the locomotive in the movie is 3751, you know Hollywood  ;).

The older Spectrum steam locomotives came with this packing, it keeps everything just as safe, but I do have to agree that the newer foam is nicer, much nicer then the new plastic packeging*hint, hint, hint*

1890s Leadville, Colorado for me! All steam 75% narrow gauge, three railrods, all serving mines sprinkled throughout the hillside around the city, could it possibly get any better.

Well, over all it is without a doubt D&RGW #346...

For diesels I would have to go with the SD70ace UP Rio Grande Heritage Unit...

Whow those look good! Well, here goes $200 :P.

Out of the list mine would have to be the Southern Pacific, although I would have to go with this statement. Narrow Gauge Rules!

Alas, all those railroads run/ran on rails 20.5" too far apart for me to call any of them a true "favorite." ;)

Forgot to mention that I used one of Xeonon model pancake stacks on the number 30 conversion. it was finished off with the fancy entertwined C&S logo on the cab and the large 30 on the tender. I will unload a photo when I can figure this photo loading out!

Okay, I would love to see the photos of it. If you want help with photo uploading, just send me a email, friscoryan1522@hotmail.com

To bad it is just the bumble bee and christmas ones.
Tell me about it. This is the second time they've done a Blueline run and still no black! I won't be buying a Christmas one, and although I might get a Bumble Bee one I would really prefer a black one, preferably #268. I guess I'll just have to start saving my money for that lovely Accucraft one.

A T-12 would be cool. I bet that Accucraft will do it after their C-16.

glennk28,

Yeah, I probably will. I currently have a liking for O, but not currently. I can't afford nor model it... N scale is for me...

You'll be back.  A wise man  (John Armstrong) once said, "Time and eyes are on the side of O Scale."

When you get older, you'll come back to modeling what you can see.   8^)

:D

Joshua

ON30= smaller space and biger scale for the same price.

It's the first Goose, not the kind you usally think of. You can find out more about the prototype as well as see pictures of the reproduction here.
