Well I have now placed my order for the 44 ton switcher in southern of course.  ;D my father drove that type engine during WWII. I have to have one of those for sure. Thanks again WBB  :)

I just watched the video myself and was on the fence about the 44 ton switcher that my LHS called me on Wednesday about. Just placed my order for the Southern unit after seeing the proto type. Also will order some of those CSX trailer cars as well. Man WBB is really stepping up the plate for me. My fleet has grown now to over 22 engines and growing.  ;D Thanks WBB.

Well I really like those RS 3 so I got another one but it is the Pennsylvania Railroad so I dropped it off at my friends and he will be making it a green Southern. I will have pictures when he finishes. Thanks WBB for such great engines.  :)

Okay here it is finished and on the layout.

Well I had to send the unit back to the paint shop because the boys must have had to much party the night before because they missed some white paint  ;D ;D ;D

OK I just picked up this GP 38 Dummy unit and drop it off at my friend house who will make it a ACL unit to go with my GP 30 ACL. So this is the before picture and I will post the the finish unit when I get it back.

Here are two photos from my friend on and update on the new ACL GP38. Not totally finished yet still at his place but will be ready Monday.

Check it out. Look at the new front and rear chain and walkway plate.

Thanks and sorry he is not for hire. I trade out electrical work for detailing. He does a great job. I just called my LHS and going to pickup a WBB GP38 dummy unit this Friday and he is going to make it a ACL to go with my GP30 ACL.  :)

Williams by Bachmann / New Addition to my RS3
March 21, 2014, 03:27:52 PM
Just got this addition to my RS3 Fleet. A good friend of mine had this Lionel RS4/3 that had a lot of issues and he gave it to me so I gutted it out and make a really nice dummy unit.

Very good information on how to replace the wheel. I really learned something. I never thought about either method but I really like the wire one for sure. Thank you for this great information.  :)

Thank you very much for answering all my question. I will take it back to the people who asked me about it. I personally love the new Prime Mover sounds and the new setup. Nice going on being able to swap the board by just plugging and unplugging into the reversing board. I have completely moved over to WBB now. I just like it when I push the handle forward everything runs and keeps on running. Great products and please keep it up. I know their will be some surprises at York and I am waiting to hear what they are for us all.

PS:
I got my GP38 CSX on preorder as well as RS3 sound board. I plan on upgrading all my WBB engines with the new board. Just need to decide which sound board for each engine. :)

The horn is only as long as you hold down the button just like Lionel horn works. No preset horn like True Blast II
You can do the horn and bell at the same time and they both work. Very nice.
